Announcing the Encode x Solana Spring 2024 Bootcamp
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Encode x Solana Spring 2024 Bootcamp, sponsored by the Solana Foundation! Starting on March 25th and running until May 2nd, this exceptional six-week program, guided by the experienced Laurence Kirk, is designed to immerse participants into the Solana ecosystem. Throughout the course, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of Solana’s innovative blockchain technology, focusing on its fundamentals, development tools and applications. This bootcamp is structured to cater to both beginners and experienced developers eager to refine their skills in blockchain technology, specifically within the Solana network.
The programme is meticulously planned to ensure a robust learning experience, including four weeks of intensive learning and lessons, followed by a special week of workshops led by industry experts. The finale of the bootcamp is a dedicated project week, where participants will apply their newly acquired knowledge to build their own projects on the Solana blockchain. This hands-on approach not only solidifies the learning but also prepares participants to contribute meaningfully to the blockchain space. With the guidance of Laurence Kirk and the support of the Solana Foundation, attendees can look forward to transforming their interest in blockchain into actionable skills and projects.

How it Works
- This programme will be completely free to the chosen participants.
- There will be a 90-minute long class running Monday-Thursday over 6 weeks.
- Each week there will be homework assignments and projects.
- Every lesson will be recorded and available for participants to look back on the next working day, but the lessons are not to be shared publicly by participants.
- Towards the end of the curriculum, the bootcamp cohort will have a ‘workshop week’, where the partner representatives will host workshops on various relevant topics.
- Each participant will get access to mentors and teachers to assist them along the way.
- Everything will happen remotely via Zoom and Discord.
- After successful completion of the Bootcamp, you will receive an NFT certificate.
Eligibility
- Open to absolutely anyone to apply
- Web3 or blockchain experience expected
- The programme is designed to be part-time
- You must commit to attending each of the weekday evening classes (GMT time)
