Encode Solidity Bootcamp June: Finale Summary
After eight weeks, the June cohort of the Encode Solidity bootcamp has successfully finished their journey with 15 teams pitching their projects!
This was an intensive coding course aimed to turn beginner web3 developers into full-fledged blockchain devs.
This cohort was led by Matheus Pagani of BFT Solutions, who ran fantastic lectures for our cohorts, and provided mentorship as well as 1–1 support to our hackers.
How it worked
Classes ran for 2 hours daily from Monday to Thursday and featured a mix of theory and demos, alongside homework, weekend projects and a final group project that demonstrated our participants’ newly acquired skills.
Classes were live and fully remote with daily Zoom sessions, dedicated private Discord discussion channels and dedicated Github repositories.

⛓ Chainlock
Chainlock is a blockchain password manager. It solves the problems with existing web2 password managers, like having single points of failure and the need to trust closed-source software.
⚔️ Cosplay Club
Cosplay Club is a cosplay contest app where users will submit their cosplay image on the theme/topic. Judges can use our JuDAO to vote for the winner.

🛡 DefenderDao
DefenderDao is a DAO whose main goal is to protect the Web3 ecosystem from scammers and malicious actors, allowing Defenders to vote to blacklisting those actors, as well as build a decentralized database with phishing URLs, scam tokens and bad actors who put the ecosystem at risk.

🗼Crypto Jenga
Crypto Jenga is a betting multiplayer game that interacts with smart contracts. Users bet on who can build the tallest tower, and the winner is randomly decided by the smart contract.

🏞 Group 1
This project is a reputation layer which gives people the ability to send Kudos as an NFT and generates on-chain reputation records.
⚖️ Trixie
Trixie is an end-to-end token management platform. It enables you to create an ERC20 token, manage it (transfer, mint, burn, etc.) and receive powerful automated data-drive insights to drive strategic decision making.
💰 Bounty Bucks
Bounty Bucks is a dApp for DAOs and their contributors which enables you to choose how you want to contribute, earn and keep track of work.

🎰 Bet Together
Bet Together is a no-loss betting protocol. The protocol pools users’ bets and generates yield with them. After the event result is known, it distributes the yield to the winner and the loser still keeps its principle.

⭐️ DAOs Got Talent
Dao’s got talent is a talent finding DAO in the crowded NFT space. DAO members view and vote on contesting NFT collections and upon conclusion the winning collection gets automatically minted. The top members who voted for the winning collection receive an NFT airdrop when the collection goes live. The automated minting and airdrop is triggered by a Chainlink Keeper.

🌀 Dexagna
Dexagna is a decentralized exchange. It enables its users to swap ERC20 tokens on Ethereum.
🎫 BlockTic
BlockTic is an NFT ticketing platform. Each event is an NFT collection, and each time you create an event you pay a fee to the platform contract and the collection is then deployed.
🛎 Dong
Dong is a decentralized application that enables you to split bills in a quick and efficient manner through smart contracts. You can either create a new smart contract or pay your share in an existing smart contract.
🥅 Bet On You
This application allows you to set a goal for yourself and put money on it. You can get the money back only after you’ve accomplished the goal, and thus the app gives you the motivation to do something.
⚽ Victoire
The application allows you to bet the outcomes of football matches. The app administrators open and close bets and the users select their favourite teams and bet the amounts they want.
🕸 web3qna
web3qna is a question-and-answer platform. To incentivize discussion, tokens are given to people who ask questions, as well as to those who provide answers. Each question is minted as an NFT on IPFS.
