The Encode Summer Hackathon, sponsored by the Solana Foundation, has come to a close with a fantastic finale event featuring the best projects pitching for top prizes!

This hackathon was a great opportunity for hackers to learn about Solana and win a prize in the process!

Our long-lasting partnership included the Solana Educate series, three Solana Bootcamp cohorts (one in April 2022, one in October 2022 and one in May 2023), and an early 2023 Hackathon. These initiatives have already helped countless individuals dive into the world of Solana, and we are proud to take the next step in our ongoing collaboration with the Solana Foundation.
Currently, applications are open for the Encode Autumn Bootcamp sponsored by the Solana Foundation!

Finale and Prizegiving event

A huge thank you to the title sponsor, the Solana Foundation, without whom this hackathon wouldn’t have been possible. Also, a shoutout to our hackathon partners Elusiv, Helius, Phantom, Pyth, Wormhole and Shyft, who offered bounties, hosted workshops and supported hackers throughout their journey.

How it Worked

Our hackathon participants had four weeks to build their projects and submit them for judging. During this time, they also had the opportunity to participate in several events related to the hackathon:
