Encode x Polkadot Accelerator 2023— Summary
The Encode x Polkadot 2023 Accelerator has recently wrapped up its eight-week journey, achieving remarkable success in its mission to elevate promising hackathon and early-stage projects into scalable startups within the Polkadot ecosystem. This accelerator was meticulously designed to support emerging entrepreneurs by immersing them in an environment rich with expert guidance, mentorship and resources essential for their growth and development in the blockchain space.
The programme featured a series of weekly workshops and personalized one-on-one sessions. These interactions provided the participants with targeted assistance across various critical areas such as technical development, design, product validation and strategic fundraising efforts. The participants benefitted significantly from the direct involvement of seasoned mentors, leading investors and entrepreneurs who are well-established in the industry.
The highlight of the accelerator was the Pitch Day event, a platform where participants showcased their polished and market-ready projects. This event not only demonstrated the substantial progress made by the participants but also highlighted the potential for these projects to make a lasting impact within the Polkadot ecosystem.

This transformative project promotes transparency, security, and efficiency in enterprise incentives, pioneering a new era of decentralized, incentive-driven solutions. Kudos serves as an agile DevTime portal within the Polkadot ecosystem, designed to seamlessly connect teams with skilled contributors through a trustless mechanism where contributions are rewarded. Utilizing GitHub Workflows for automated contribution approval and ink! smart contracts for crafting custom incentives, Kudos has already rolled out a ‘Single Token Payment’ template activated by the closure of GitHub issues.
