After four weeks, the November cohort of the Solidity Foundation Bootcamp by Encode has come to an end.

Like the title suggests, the bootcamp was aimed at at people with very little or no crypto experience. It’s a shorter, lighter version of our regular 8-week Solidity bootcamp. Over four sessions, which took place on four consecutive Fridays, almost two hundred bootcamp participants got introduced to the foundations of writing smart contracts with Solidity.

The bootcamp was taught by Matheus Pagani of BFT Solutions. Besides teaching, Matheus also made sure the participants had constant support between the weekly session, that they had access to the bootcamp resources, and that their questions were answered.

How it worked

Classes ran for 1.5 hours once a week, on Fridays, and covered the fundamentals of blockchain technology, Ethereum and basic smart contracts.

Classes were live and fully remote with daily Zoom sessions and dedicated private Discord discussion channels.

The four bootcamp sessions were the following:

  • Week 1: Introduction to Blockchain and Ethereum
  • Week 2: HellowWorld.sol and Syntax
  • Week 3: Anatomy of dApp, Part 1
  • Week 4: Anatomy of dApp, Part 2

What our participants say about the bootcamp
